On Friday I could definately feel a cold coming on so I went home and went straight to bed. On Saturday morning I woke up and attempted to drive down to the store to get some medicine and some soda pop since that usually helps my throat. However the map light was left on and the battery was flat.

I got the battery charged quickly using an Icom PS-15 power supply.

I got to the store okay, and got some stuff, but then my car wouldn’t start again. Ugh… I should have driven farther away.

So back in the store I looked over their auto accessories for anything that might help. I found this device that has a battery, charger and some other things intended for aiding in jump starting a car. I picked it up and prayed that it had a charge in it. When I opened the box it said that I had to charge it for 20 hours before using it. I hooked it all up and it worked – my car started again . This time I took the long way home.

My car seems to be okay, but I still feel like crap. Hopefully I’ll feel better tommorow.
